Characters: Benvolio, Mercutio, Romeo, Peter, Nurse

Event:

The morning after Capulet’s feast Benvolio and Mercutio are searching for Romeo.Later Romeo appears and Benvolio and Mercutio find out that Romeo was not with Roselin for the night.Nurse enters asking for Romeo and Romeo tries to tell the nurse something but Mercutio is mocking the nurse.Romeo tells nurse to tell Juliet that they are getting married today so meet them at Friar Lawrence cell.

Act 2 Scene 5

Setting: Juliet’s house

Time: Monday morning

Event:

Nurse tells Juliet that she has great news but the nurse starts moaning about her bones ache and how tired she is ,until the get to the point that Juliet as said by Romeo,will be marrying Romeo today but they must meet at Friar Lawrence ASAP.Juliet says “yes!”

There stays a husband to make you a wife.
Now comes the wanton blood up in your cheeks.
They’ll be in scarlet straight at any news.
Hie you to church. I must another way
To fetch a ladder, by the which your love
Must climb a bird’s nest soon when it is dark.
