Writing a Scene for a New Play (Part B)

Fernandez: Why, why am I here longer hu?

Cop: For stealing the keys to the cell.

Fernandez:But, it wasn’t me that stole the keys.

Hugo(cell mate) steps closer to rails.

Cop:Hugo stay out of this!! or I will have to put you in isolation.

Fernandez drops toothbrush in front of guard.Fernandez goes to pick it up and takes the cop’s gun without him noticing and put it in his back pocket.

Hugo: Oh please that doesn’t work on me.

Cop:Well then, how about a month.

Hugo: Nah how about you double it?

Cop: Fine then 6 months, like that.

Hugo:Fine, but you will never get me!

Cop calls Brute cops to take Hugo. Cop opens door.

Fernandez: Oh you made a big mistake.

Fernandez throws gun to Hugo.While he closes the door on the cop’s hand.

Hugo:Got it !!!

Hugo shoots the cop.Cop dies.Fernandez takes cop’s card.Fernandez runs to Control room with Hugo.

Fernandez allies in a car trying to  rescue them.

Juan:Guys load them up! we are going in!

Pablo: Everyone know their code names?

Squad:Yep!

Pablo: Alpha take the back! Delta front, Bravo Decoy and Charlie with me.

Juan: Y’all ready?

Squad:Roger!

Back in the prison

Fernandez: Quick shoot!!

Guards:Please don’t hurt us.

Hugo shoot the guards.

Fernandez put card into emergency supplies.

Fernandez:I got the supplies from the box.

Hugo: Put the C4 behind this pipe it will explode the wall.

Fernandez puts C4 behind pipe.5 seconds later C4 explodes and wall is taken down.

Hugo:That was like a meteor hitting the earth.

Fernandez:Go, go , go , go!!!!

Cops: Leave the control room with your hands up in the air.

Hugo:Damn I wish help would come.

Fernandez: Don’t worry patience is the key to a successful escape.

Cops arrest the prisoners, put them in the police car and they go off to then

Decoy arrives shoots car wheel car stops

Bravo:Come out the car with your hands up.

Cop comes out and starts to shoot Bravo.Bravo and cop gunfight

Alpha goes to the back of the car takes Fernandez and Hugo out the car.

Alpha: Quick out the car!!

Fernandez:Quick shoot the handcuffs.

Hugo:Do mine too!!

Charlie drives in with a car.

Charlie: Get in!!

Alpha stays to help out Bravo with gunfight

Charlie, Fernandez and Hugo drive off.

 

 

 

Analyse Language (Project Part B) Writing

Act 2 Scene 6 analysis,

Original Script:

Enter Friar Lawrence and Romeo.

FRI. L.

So smile the heavens upon this holy act,

That after-hours with sorrow chide us not!

ROM.

Amen, amen! But come what sorrow can,

It cannot countervail the exchange of joy

That one short minute gives me in her sight.

Do thou but close our hands with holy words,

Then love-devouring death do what he dare,

It is enough I may but call her mine.

FRI. L.

These violent delights have violent ends,

And in their triumph die, like fire and powder,

Which as they kiss consume. The sweetest honey

Is loathsome in his own deliciousness,

And in the taste confounds the appetite.

Therefore love moderately: long love doth so;

Too swift arrives as tardy as too slow.

Enter Juliet.

Here comes the lady. O, so light a foot

Will ne’er wear out the everlasting flint;

A lover may bestride the gossamers

That idles in the wanton summer air,

And yet not fall; so light is vanity.

JUL.

Good even to my ghostly confessor.

FRI. L.

Romeo shall thank thee, daughter, for us both.

JUL.

As much to him, else is his thanks too much.

ROM.

Ah, Juliet, if the measure of thy joy

Be heap’d like mine, and that thy skill be more

To blazon it, then sweeten with thy breath

This neighbor air, and let rich music’s tongue

Unfold the imagin’d happiness that both

Receive in either by this dear encounter.

JUL.

Conceit, more rich in matter than in words,

Brags of his substance, not of ornament;

They are but beggars that can count their worth,

But my true love is grown to such excess

I cannot sum up sum of half my wealth.

FRI. L.

Come, come with me, and we will make short work,

For by your leaves, you shall not stay alone

Till Holy Church incorporate two in one.

Exeunt

Analysis:

Friar speaks:These lines mean that may God protect our marriage and that nothing happens later on (They are hoping of faith).

Romeo speaks: Romeo says that you cannot ruin love and as long as he has Juliet, holding hands will make holy words protecting them.Romeo is trying to say is that their love was faith and God would not want for this love to end.

Friar speaks: He says that take your love at a moderate rate because  it could end in all of a sudden.Also you must not take your life for love.This suggest that Friar was kind of telling the future or just helping out Romeo that he can’t do everything for his love.

Juliet speaks: Hi my evening confessor meaning my helper or choice decider.

Friar speaks: Romeo will thank you my girl.

Juliet speaks: I will give him the equal thanks so we are the same.

Romeo speaks: Juliet if you are as happy as you say please tell me about the happiness we will have in our marriage.

Juliet speaks : I can imagine more than words and that love has given twice the wealth and  I could not count half of it because it is two much.

Friar speaks: Hurry up and marry because I am not leaving you alone until your marry.
